t was measuring madness at Eketahuna Library this morning for the Yr1-2’s! We measured the stretch of our arms (fingertip to fingertip) and compared it to our height. Then we used what we knew about our height to become ‘one metre detectives’, trying to find everything that we thought was about 100cm long, tall or high. When we doubled our size, we found we would have been able to touch the roof!! In the afternoon we discovered the magic of Tetrahedrons! Once started we couldn’t stop making them! Afterwards we made a small display of all our stuff we made during the day, to show off to the world!
